Ok. This whole being in love thing and the elation that comes with it is wonderful on so many levels but being happy is not my thing. Adjusting to this almost constant serenity is taxing. I mean the changes are drastic:
-Went from ~4 or 12+ hours of sleep to ~8 on most nights.
-I actually exercise and eat right.
-I get along with my mum!
-I clean and cook with and for my family.
-Depression has trouble even creeping in to the back of my mind.
I mean this is how a relationship is supposed to work and that is foreign to me.
Here is the real kicker. I have known her less than a year but being in love feels right. Not forced. Not as a ploy or hollow word to show great interest. These words nearly burst out of my chest before they begin to form but steal my breath and come out in gasp.
I have a big surprise when she comes to see me graduate at basic. Life changing. Wonderful. Less a new chapter more a new book.
Oh and she tastes divine.

Everyday I have to bite my tongue due to someone being ignorant and hypocritical. It isn’t worth stetting them straight because it will not change them and lead to conflict.
Worst thing is these are people I know by some degree.
Things such as calling out certain people then saying others should stop judging or thinking themselves superior in anyway. They act one way and before even a week goes by contradict themselves.
Do they realize this? Can they really believe themselves after all the bullshit?
